North Vietnam Holiday – 5 Days Tour

Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi

• Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi, you will meet our Travelwings representative for a pick up and transfer to your hotel.
• Check in at the hotel (standard time approx 1400 hrs)
• The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Ha Noi

• The day starts with a visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, and his house on stilts.
• This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city.
• Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - Ha Noi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake.
• Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, the Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university, constructed in the 11th century, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past.
• Enjoy a walking tour around the Old Quarter streets, named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.
• Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake for photos.
• Overnight stay in Hanoi.
• Notes: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is CLOSED on Mondays, Fridays, and all afternoons.

Day 3

Ha noi – Ninh Binh – Ha noi

• After breakfast, we are picked up by the guide to depart from Ha Noi for a 2-hour private transfer to Ninh Binh province, home to amazing karst mountains, misty caves, and historical relics.
• Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to get an overview of the first three centralized feudal states of Vietnam.
• While the ancient citadel has probably disappeared, the temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties remain surrounded by rice paddies and mountains.
• Continue your journey to Bich Dong, which was conferred by a King as “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”.
• Embark on a rowing boat ride through the magnificent waterway lined with rice paddies to discover Tam Coc, known as “Ha Long Bay on Land.
• Proceed back to Hanoi after the tour and arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon.
• Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4

Ha Noi- Ha Long Bay- Ha noi

• This morning, we will be picked up at your hotel by the guide, on a private transfer to Halong Bay, one of the World Heritage sites.
• We reach the boat pier in Halong after around 2.5 hours ' drive and board the day-cruise trip, enjoying all the featured activities on board with the La Casta Daily Cruise.
• Cruise’s itinerary:
• 10:00: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbour, you will check in and get on board the cruise, which starts a trip to discover the World Heritage.
• 10:30: Enjoy a welcome drink. The cruise departs from Tuan Chau Harbor for a joyful journey to discover the beauty of the world heritage Ha Long Bay.
• Along the way, you will have a chance to pass through the grandeur of the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands, such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and especially Thumb Rock – a beautiful limestone islet rising from the seawater in the shape of a giant thumb.
• Mother Nature has put Thumb Rock here to send a message of goodness to every passenger cruising in the ancient bay.
• 12:00: Have a huge buffet lunch with a variety of dishes, including seafood and Vietnamese traditional food.
• 13:00: Stop at Bo Hon Island. Our tour guide will take you to Sung Sot Cave/Surprising Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
• Discover the cave for about 45 minutes before getting back to the cruise (For other tourists who can’t walk much, you can stay on the cruise, chilling out on the sundeck).
• 14:00: Say goodbye to Sung Sot Cave, and cruise to Luon Cave. In this area, it’s time for you to heat up with kayaking (about 30 minutes of kayaking).
• 15:00: Stop at Titov Island. On this small island, you can climb halfway up the mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
• Looking down from high above gives you a wonderful sensation; at the same time offers you a spectacular view of every corner of the bay.
• 16:00: After that, you will get back on the cruise and be ready for our Sunset Party. Vietnamese tea, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served when you’re relaxing on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi.
• On the way back, the cruise will pass by the Hoa Cuong area, one of the most beautiful spots in the bay.
• 17:30-18:00: Arrive in Tuan Chau Port.

• Upon disembarkation, pick-up and transfer are arranged by the guide to Hanoi. The excursion ends at your hotel in town.

Day 5

Ha Noi

• Breakfast at the hotel and leisure.
• At a good time, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
