Epic Vietnam Tour – North & South 6 Days

Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi

• Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi, you will meet our Travelwings representative
• Enjoy a hassle-free pickup from the airport and transfer to your hotel.
• If the arrival is in the morning, you have a chance to do the half-day city tour.
• See Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city.
• We continue to the Hoa Lo Prison, also known as “Hanoi Hilton”; the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, and a well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture.
• Explore Hoan Kiem Lake and witness the daily life of locals.
• Walk through the bustling Old Quarter, known for its narrow streets and traditional architecture.
• Overnight in Hanoi Note:
• The standard check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in service is not included.
• The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Hanoi – Full Day Ninh Binh

• After breakfast, you get a pick-up arranged by the guide for a 2-hour private transfer to Ninh Binh Province, home to amazing karst mountains, misty caves, and historical relics.
• Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to get an overview of the first three centralized feudal states of Vietnam.
• While the ancient citadel has probably disappeared, the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties remain surrounded by rice paddies and mountains.
• Continue your journey to Bich Dong, which was conferred by a King as “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”.
• Embark on a rowing boat ride through the magnificent waterway lined with rice paddies to discover Tam Coc, known as “Ha Long Bay on Land.
• We head back to Hanoi after the tour and arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3

Hanoi -Halong/Lan Ha

• Relish breakfast at the hotel, after which a pick-up is arranged by the guide and a private transfer to Halong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Around noon, we arrive at your jetty in Halong City and proceed with check-in formalities.
• After you're welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising the bay itself.
• In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board.
• Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations.
• Dinner is served on board.
• Overnight on a cruise in Halong/ Lan Ha Bay.
• Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 4

Ha Long-Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh via Flight

• Enjoy your morning in the middle of the bay as the sun rises on Halong and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port.
• Upon disembarkation, pick-up by the guide is arranged and a private transfer to HAN airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
• Formerly known as “Saigon” before 1975, Ho Chi Minh City today is Vietnam’s commercial centre that never sleeps.
• Upon arrival, meet and greet by the local guide at Tan Son Nhat (SGN) Airport and a private transfer to the hotel in town for checking in.
• You can enjoy leisure time.
• Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 5

Ho Chi Minh City – Full Day City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels

• Today, explore the key highlights and must-see attractions of Ho Chi Minh City that retain a strong link to its past despite its rapid development.
• Explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels to gain an insight into the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels, as well as the tenacity and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese during combat.
• This afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum which presents a partial yet vivid view of the American War through the Vietnamese’s eyes.
• Wind your way to one of the most significant historical sites of the city, the Reunification Palace, and then enjoy a short walk or drive to the city’s most historic landmarks, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office.
• Conclude your visit to the bustling Ben Thanh Market to enjoy shopping and discover your bargaining power.
• Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 6

Ho Chi Minh City – Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel and time for leisure.
• Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight
