Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi

  • Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi, you will meet our Travelwings representative, be picked up from the airport, and transferred to your hotel.
  • The first stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, “Lake of the Returned Sword”, to learn about the legend of the lake and the history of Hanoi, before stopping to visit the nearby Ngoc Son Temple.
  • Enjoy a walking tour around Ha Noi's Old Quarter, known simply as the 36 Streets, with a history dating back to approximately the 13th Century.
  • It was once a residential, manufacturing, and commercial center where each street specialized in a specific type of manufacturing or commerce.
  • Explore the fascinating maze of back streets, and around the Dong Xuan Market, the biggest wholesale market in the Old Quarter.
  • We will also grab a seat at one of the coffee shops along the railway, enjoy the Vietnamese coffee while taking your fabulous pictures in Hanoi.
  • Get a private transfer to your hotel to check in.
  • Enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace.
  • The standard check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in service is not included.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Hanoi – Halong-Hanoi

  • This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel by the guide, and embark on a private transfer to Halong Bay, one of the World Heritage sites.
  • We arrived at the boat pier in Halong after around 2.5 hours.
  • Board the day-cruise trip, enjoying all the featured activities on board with the La Casta Daily Cruise.
  • Cruise’s itinerary: 10:00: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbour, you will check in and get on board the cruise to discover the World Heritage.
  • 10:30: Enjoy a welcome drink. The cruise departs from Tuan Chau Harbor for a joyful journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay.
  • Along the way, pass through the grandeur of the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and especially Thumb Rock – a beautiful limestone islet rising from the seawater in the shape of a giant thumb.
  • Mother Nature has put Thumb Rock here to send a message of goodness to every passenger cruising in the ancient bay.
  • 12:00: Have a delicious buffet lunch with a variety of dishes, including seafood and Vietnamese traditional food.
  • 13:00: Stop at Bo Hon Island. Our tour guide will take you to Sung Sot Cave/Surprising Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
  • After about 200 steps under the forest canopy, the entrance of the cave shows up.
  • You will discover the cave in about 45 minutes before getting back to the cruise (For other tourists who can’t walk much, you can stay on the cruise, chilling out on the sundeck).
  • 14:00: Say goodbye to Sung Sot Cave, and cruise to Luon Cave. In this area, it’s time for you to heat up with kayaking (about 30 minutes of kayaking)
  • 15:00: Stop at Titov Island. On this small island, you can climb halfway up the mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
  • 16:00: Get back on the cruise and be ready for our Sunset Party. Vietnamese tea, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served when you’re relaxing on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi.
  • On the way back, the cruise will pass by the Hoa Cuong area, one of the most beautiful spots in the bay.
  • 17:30-18:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Port.
  • Note: Due to operational or weather conditions, itineraries and food may change without prior notice.
  • Upon disembarkation, pick up by the guide is arranged and be transferred to Hanoi.
  • Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3

Hanoi - Danang

  • The day starts with a visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, and his house on stilts.
  • This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city.
  • Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda-Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake.
  • Visit Van Mieu- Quoc Tu Giam, the Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university, constructed in the 11th century. This well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past.
  • After lunch, enjoy some leisure time for shopping at some of the biggest shopping malls in Hanoi, such as Lotte or Vincom.
  • Get a pick-up by the guide at the hotel and a private transfer to the airport for taking the flight to Da Nang.
  • Upon arrival in Da Nang, meet and greet by the local guide and private transfer to your hotel in town for checking in and time at leisure.
  • Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 4

Da Nang

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • This morning, we will drive for about an hour to Ba Na Hill, a scenic mountainous area with panoramic vistas.
  • Standing more than 1,400 meters (4,878 feet) above sea level, the temperature of this place is mostly cool year-round.
  • Arrive at Ba Na Hills cable car station, ride on a modern system of cable cars, and get a bird's-eye view of nature.
  • Experience the feeling of walking in the clouds when you walk on the Golden Bridge, supported by a pair of giant hands jutting out of the mountain.
  • Enjoy your leisure time on Ba Na Hills for further activities such as European Architecture Villas, indoor games, French Wine Cellar, flower beds, and pagodas.
  • A buffet lunch will be served at the restaurant on the hill during the excursion.
  • We drove back to Da Nang to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight in Da Nang

Day 5

Da Nang – Hoi An - Da Nang

  • Relish breakfast at the hotel.
  • This morning, we drive to Hoi An Ancient Town and en
  • joy a guided walking tour around the old town.
  • The narrow lanes in Hoi An are ideal for a guided walking tour to explore its highlights such as old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture.
  • The 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings.
  • Enjoy some free time here for pictures, coffee, shopping.
  • Continue to Cam Thanh Village, where we will enjoy a short but exciting bamboo basket boat ride.
  • Returning to the ancient town, enjoy some free time for shopping.
  • In the evening, enjoy a short boat trip on the river and opt to float the lanterns, wishing for good luck – as the locals do.
  • Private transfer back to Da Nang for staying overnight.

Day 6

Da Nang

  • Breakfast at the hotel and some leisure time.
  • Go on a private transfer to Da Nang airport for your departure flight
