Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Hanoi
- Upon arrival in Hanoi, we meet and greet the local guide and transfer to the town for the city tour.
- Visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the Nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his house on stilts.
- This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city
- We continue to visit the Hoa Lo Prison, also known as “Hanoi Hilton”; the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, and a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture.
- Explore the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and witness the daily life of locals.
- Walk through the bustling Old Quarter, known for its narrow streets and traditional architecture.
- Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2
Hanoi-Full Day Ninh Binh
- After breakfast, pick up by the guide and depart Ha Noi for a 2-hour private transfer to Ninh Binh Province, home to amazing karst mountains, misty caves, and historical relics.
- Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to get an overview of the first three centralized feudal states of Vietnam.
- While the ancient citadel has probably disappeared, the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties remain surrounded by rice paddies and mountains.
- Continue your journey to Bich Dong, which was conferred by a King as “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”.
- Embark on a rowing boat ride through the magnificent waterway lined with rice paddies to discover Tam Coc, known as “Ha Long Bay on Land.
- We head back to Hanoi after the tour and arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3
Hanoi- Ha long / Lan Ha
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, after which a pick-up is arranged by the guide and a private transfer to Halong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Around noon, we arrive at a jetty in Halong City and proceed with check-in formalities.
- After you're welcomed onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself.
- In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board.
- Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations.
- Dinner is served on board.
- Overnight on a cruise in Halong/ Lan Ha Bay.
- Note: - Depending on the weather and the operation’s condition, the cruise’s itinerary is subject to change without prior notice. - Guests take full services from the cruise package (including an in-house English-speaking guide)
Day 4
HA LONG – HANOI – DA NANG
- Enjoy your morning in the middle of the bay, as the sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port.
- Upon disembarkation, pick-up by the guide and private transfer to HAN airport for taking the flight to Da Nang City – the commercial center of Central Vietnam.
- Upon arrival, meet and greet the local guide at Da Nang Airport and private transfer to the hotel in town for checking in.
- You are free at leisure.
- Overnight in Da Nang
Day 5
Da Nang – Hoi An- Da Nang
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- This morning, enjoy a pleasant drive to Ba Na Hill, a scenic mountainous area with panoramic vistas.
- Experience the feeling of walking in the clouds on the Golden Bridge, which seems to be supported by a pair of giant hands jutting out of the mountain.
- Enjoy your leisure time on Ba Na Hills for further activities such as European Architecture Villas, indoor games, French Wine Cellar, flower beds, and pagodas.
- Upon returning to Da Nang, enjoy a photo stop over the Dragon Bridge.
- Continue to Son Tra Peninsula, visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, and enjoy the stunning view over the picturesque landscape of Da Nang and its beaches.
- Wind your way to Marble Mountain, a cluster of 5 marble and limestone mountains.
- Stop at a sculpting village which has a proud history covering more than 200 years.
- Return to your hotel after the tour.
- Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 6
DA NANG – HO CHI MINH
- After breakfast, pick-up by the guide and a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
- Formerly known as “Saigon” before 1975, Ho Chi Minh City today is Vietnam’s commercial centre that never sleeps.
- Upon arrival, meet and greet the local guide at Tan Son Nhat (SGN) Airport and private transfer to town for the half-day city tour.
- Visit the War Remnants Museum, which presents a partial yet vivid view of the American War through the Vietnamese eyes.
- Wind your way to one of the most significant historical sites of the city, the Reunification Palace, and then enjoy a short walk or drive to the city’s most historic landmarks, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office.
- Conclude your visit to the bustling Ben Thanh Market to enjoy shopping and discover your bargaining power.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 7
HO CHI MINH CITY – FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA
- Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City for a 1.5-hour drive to My Tho Province, passing through lush rice paddies and fruit farms.
- Arrive at the waterfront pier and hop on an enjoyable motor boat excursion, take in the Delta scenery, houses built on stilts, and local fish farms along the way.
- Disembark the boat and explore a tranquil islet on foot.
- Walk leisurely on shady and palm-fringed trails, observing rural life that remains in many ways similar to how it was lived far back in history.
- You will have the chance to see a family-run business where they make coconut candy directly in front of the pier.
- Taste local tea with honey, sample fruits while listening to a traditional folk song performance “Don ca tai tu”, the traditional art of the Southern rural region that was listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2013.
- Bid farewell to your friendly host and continue on your journey by rowing a sampan through the maze of small canals covered by water coconut trees.
- We return to Ho Chi Minh City in mid-afternoon and enjoy some free time for leisure or last-minute shopping.

Day 8
HO CHI MINH CITY
- Breakfast at the hotel and time for leisure.
- Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
