Riyadh weather is characterized by a hot desert climate that results in long, extremely hot summers and very mild winters.
The highest temperature in Riyadh touches a high of 49.8°c However, if it wasn't for the elevation that city lies on the temperatures could have been much higher. The city witnesses extremely low precipitation during summers. However, it does receive an adequate amount of rainfall in the months of March and April.
The city also experiences severe desert storms that reduce visibility up to 10 metres. Hence, the best time to visit Riyadh is during the winter months which are a lot more pleasant and range between November - March.
