1. Terms and conditions for “Travelwings #SendMeSomeWhere Competition” (“the Competition”).
2. The promoter of the Competition is Travelwings.com.
3. The Competition is open to South African citizens and permanent residents only and excludes the Promoter, the Promoter’s advertising and promotional agencies, any directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the Promoter, any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition and the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified aforesaid.
4. The Competition is open from 22 November 2022 and ends at 00:00, midnight on 06 December 2022 (the closing date)Any entries received before 22 November2022 and after the closing date will not be considered.
5. It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure that his/her entry is received within the competition dates. Any entries, which are not received before midnight on 22 November 2022 will not be eligible to participate, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
6. The Promoter and its affiliates are not responsible for any entries, which are not received by it, regardless of the cause for non-receipt.
7. The Promoter and its affiliates are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network, computer system, server, or provider, which may have hindered entry into the competition.
8. To enter the competition, entrants are required to do the following:
• Share a comment on the competition post using the hashtag #sendmesomewhere
• The post should include either words, images or videos as motivation for Travelwings to send them to a particular destination (limited to specific airline destinations).
• Entrants are permitted to enter once per user.
9. One winner will be selected to receive a prize.
10. The prize winner will receive (two) return tickets to travel withRwandAir.
11. The ticketswill be limited to RwandAir destinations and subject to availability.
12. Winners will be selected by a panel from Travelwings at their discretion.
13. Winners will be notified via Facebook or Instagram platform, depending on the platform used to enter.
14. (Prospective) winners will be requested via a Facebook or Instagram comment from Travelwings ZA to Inbox or Directly Message (DM)the page with their details. Upon sending the inbox or Direct Message (DM) they will then receive confirmation of their prize via private message. This is subject to them responding with their details within 72 hours.
15. Failure to respond within 72 hours results in forfeiture of the prize and Travelwings will select the next eligible winner.
16. Winners will receive their prize details within a month after the competition ends. They will be contacted by RwandAir by email, with steps to redeem their voucher.
17. The prizes are not exchangeable nor transferable, under any circumstances, unless provided for in these terms and conditions.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to change and/or postpone or terminate the competition immediately without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents or distributors.
19. Neither the Promoter nor its agents, distributors, nor any of the Promoter’s directors, officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the entrants in connection with this Competition or the use of the prizes.
20. The eligible prize winners may be required to sign an indemnity. Failure to sign the indemnity shall result in the prize being forfeited.
21. All risks and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of The Promoter’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall terminate.
22. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the entrants and eligible winners for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
23. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by the Promoter, and will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition and in line with applicable legislation.
24. User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013.
25. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the Promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
26. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Qualifying entrants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoter to comply with their obligations under the CPA.
27. The Promotor’s decision(s) shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
28. Entering this Competition constitutes the unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
