Europe Grand Discovery – Madrid, Barcelona & Paris

Day 1

Arrival in Madrid

• Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
• Enjoy some free time until the tour officially begins.
• Please check the information boards at the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.
• In the evening, a transfer will be provided to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, Madrid’s most famous areas for nightlife and tapas.
• You may choose to dine at a restaurant of your preference, with options including Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Day 2

Madrid City Tour

• The day begins with a comprehensive sightseeing tour of central Madrid, covering major highlights such as Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Later, visit Retiro Park, one of the city’s most beautiful green spaces, including the lake and the Palacio de Cristal.
• Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid.
• The remainder of the afternoon is free for leisure.
• In the evening, a return transfer to the hotel is provided.

Day 3

Madrid – Granada

• Early morning departure from Madrid, traveling south through La Mancha.
• Stop at Puerto Lápice, a traditional Manchego village associated with the story of Don Quixote.
• Continue through Despeñaperros into Andalusia and arrive in Granada, where lunch is included.
• In the afternoon, guests who have selected the option with Alhambra entry will visit the Alhambra Palace and the Generalife Gardens with a local guide

Important Note:
Entry to the Alhambra is strictly regulated. Tickets are issued at the time of tour confirmation and require accurate personal details (full name and passport/ID number). Ticket costs are non-refundable in case of cancellation. If the Alhambra visit is not possible, the Royal Alcázar of Seville will be visited instead.

Day 4

Granada – Nerja – Málaga – Ronda – Seville

• Departure from Granada, enjoying scenic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
• Travel along the Mediterranean’s Tropical Coast, known for its mild climate and tropical fruit cultivation.
• Stop in Nerja, a charming seaside town with impressive cliffs.
• Continue to Málaga, the vibrant capital of the Costa del Sol, with time for lunch and a walk through the historic city center.
• Later, travel through the Andalusian mountains to Ronda, famous for its dramatic gorge. Continue onward to Seville, arriving in the late afternoon.
• Dinner is included at the hotel.

Day 5

Seville – Zaragoza

• Enjoy a panoramic tour of Seville, including the Cathedral and Giralda, the Guadalquivir River, and the neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana.
• A boat cruise on the Guadalquivir River is included.
• In the afternoon, transfer to the station to board the high-speed train to Zaragoza. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Note: The train journey will be without an accompanying Europamundo guide.

Day 6

Zaragoza – Poblet – Barcelona

• Free morning in Zaragoza to explore the historic center and Plaza del Pilar, home to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and La Seo Cathedral.
• After lunch, continue to Catalonia with a stop at the Poblet Monastery, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (admission included).
• Proceed to Barcelona, arriving late afternoon.
