Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome To Cape Town!

Day one of your tour will commence with your arrival at the Cape Town International Airport in South Africa. At the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and your chauffeur, who will escort you to the hotel in Cape Town for your check-in. Post this you will have the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Half Day City Tour Of Cape Town

Day two will commence with a nice South African breakfast at the hotel in Cape Town. The rest of the morning will be at your own leisure. In the afternoon we will head on out for a half-day city tour of Cape Town. The tour will commence with a scenic coastal drive through Clifton and Sea Point. Post that the tour will make stops at the Houses Of Parliament, the Castle, the SA Museum and a few historical sights like District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge and the never-ending bustling Greenmarket Square.
Post that you will be taken on a cable car ride up Table Mountain (if the weather permits otherwise Signal Hill) for an awe-inspiring view of the entire city of Cape Town from the top of the mountain. Post this we return to the hotel followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Full Day Peninsular Tour

After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel in Cape Town, we will depart for a full-day tour which will show the best of the wonderful Cape Peninsula and understand why it is called the ‘Fairest Cape’. The tour will witness us passing Sea Point and Camps Bay whilst driving through the famous beaches of Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout Bay. The drive along the Atlantic Seaboard will witness you passing through Noordhoek and Scarborough. After that, you will pay a visit to the Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve and explore the local wildlife scene of the city.
Post this you will be able to enjoy a funicular ride aboard the “Flying Dutchman” and witness the beautiful view of the surrounding scenery. After that, we will visit the second most southern tip of South Africa at Cape Agulhas from where you will be able to click some beautiful pictures. After this, we will pay a visit to Boulder’s Beach, where you will be able to sit and click pictures of the local ‘Jackass Penguins’ while their colony moves around the beach in search of food. After that, we will make a short stop at the naval port of Simon’s Town and learn about the legend of ‘Able Seaman Just Nuisance’, a great dane to have ever been inducted into the Royal Navy.
The overnight stay will happen at the hotel in Cape Town.

Day 4

Cape Town - Johannesburg - Sun City

Day four begins with a nice breakfast at the hotel in Cape Town, post which you will be transferred to George Airport to facilitate your transfer to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will be met with a Travelwings representative who will be in charge of your transfer to Sun City Resort. Sun City resort is one of the only distinct locations popular for being the only surf and safari destination that is roughly a two-hour drive from the landlocked city of Johannesburg.

Day 5

Day Of Leisure In Sun City

After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel in Sun City, the rest of the day is at your own leisure. The overnight stay will be at the Sun City Resort.

Optional Tour: Today you may choose from an optional tour of going on a game drive to the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve to witness Africa’s ‘Big Five’. (extra charge)

Day 6

Sun City - Johannesburg

Day four begins with a nice breakfast at the hotel at Sun City Resort, post which you will check out from the hotel at Sun City. After that, you will be transferred to Johannesburg, where on arrival you will leave for a ‘Gold Reef City Tour’.
The tour will take you to the region of Joburg or Johannesburg where reconstruction was in full swing during the Gold Rush era, which is built around an old gold mine. The activities that you would be able to indulge in include a Victorian Fun Fair, miner’s houses, pubs, restaurants and a make-shift stock exchange. You would also witness the old techniques the miners used to use to turn gold ore into pure gold and being poured into rectangular moulds as shown in many movies. You will also have the opportunity to travel down an old mine shaft for a surreal experience. Post that you will witness the locals perform a tribal dance that adds to the experience of the tour.
After this, you will check in at the hotel in Johannesburg, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 7

Departure

The final day of the tour will see you checking out from the hotel in Johannesburg. Post this you will be transferred to Tambo International Airport for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful trip spent across South Africa.

  • The rate is not valid for New Year, special events, peak season and blackout dates.
  • PCR Test with a negative Result valid within the last 72 hours before departure is mandatory.
  • COVID restrictions & PCR guidelines might change anytime without any notice.
  • Rates for Single/Triple/Quad occupancy will vary at the time of booking.
  • Rates & room availability are subject to change at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment as per the booking terms.
  • The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1400/1500 hours while the check-out time is 1100/1200 hours. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
  • The above rate is based per person on a double sharing basis.
  • Seasonal surcharges and blackout dates may apply depending on the date of travel.
  • Passengers are solely responsible for meeting the passport and visa conditions of the country of travel.
  • The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure.
  • The passengers must ensure on their own that they have a valid passport for the necessary period as per the travelling destination immigration rules. The passengers should also arrange for visas before travelling with this holiday package.
  • Travelwings.com does not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of a passport or visa issue. The cancellation policy will be applicable as per the booking terms and conditions.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • 45 days or more from the departure date - 25% of the package cost to be paid (non-refundable).
  • Between 30 to 45 days from the departure date - 50 % of the package cost to bepaid (non-refundable).
  • Less than 15 to 30 days from the departure date - 100% of the package cost (non-refundable).
  • Full refund is only applicable in the case of flight cancellation due to COVID restrictions and lockdown measures in the respective destinations.
