Day 1
Arrive in Rome
Welcome to Rome, the capital city of Italy in Europe. Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to receive you. Transfer hassle-free to your hotel and enjoy leisure time until the tour starts. The hotel reception area will provide you with information posters about the services of the tour. You will find all required clarity such as the guide's name, meeting place and time on the information notice.

Day 2
Rome City Tour - Transfer at night to Trastevere area
After an enjoyable breakfast, proceed onwards to the exciting city tour of the 'Eternal City.' We take you on a sightseeing journey. Enjoy the sight of the holiest temple of the Catholic church with its fabulous facades and spiritual significance. Finish the tour at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican where you will see the Basilica in all its glory and the museums.
In the evening transfer to Trastevere, a busy city district famous for its restaurants. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Rome
After a tasty breakfast, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the city of Rome on your own.

Day 4
Rome - Florence
After breakfast at the hotel proceed onwards north from Rome to Florence. En-route enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at Florence, the tour takes you to the highlight attraction of Piazzale Michelangelo. This is an impressive square in the city from where you get panoramic views of Florence. The tour guides with a local expert as you walk through the historic centre.
In the afternoon we recommend a visit to the famous markets. Enjoy being in a city which is noted for its shopping and majestic museums. Florence and tourism go hand in hand as it is one of the top destinations to travel to in Italy.

Day 5
Florence - Pisa - Cinque Terre - Genoa
After breakfast, the tour proceeds on a little tourist train journey towards Pisa. The tour takes you to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is noted for its architectural brilliance and is an important centre for European medieval art. Admire the highlight attraction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a freestanding bell tower. Proceed to the Ligurian Coast to admire one of the most spectacular European coastlines. Visit the Cinque Terre which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It comprises five towns with a string of seaside villages that live on fishery and tourism industries. The area is isolated and it is difficult to access by road. The tour then takes you by train to Vernazza, one of the five-centuries old villages with an outstanding Church of Santa Margarita. It was built in 1318. The beautiful church overlooks the sea and is built in Gothic-Ligurian style.
Take some time out for lunch and proceed on a train journey to Levanto. Here the tour coach rejoins with the journey to Genoa.
Note: The train to Cinque Terre is a regular local railway service, not a tourist service. Sometimes the trains are full (it is not possible to book places on these trains) so it might be necessary, on occasions, to travel standing and not seated.

Day 6
Genoa - Portofino - Milan
Have a delicious breakfast and continue our journey to the nearby city of Santa Margherita Ligure. Embark here for Portofino, one of the most exclusive places in Europe. It is a fishing village on the Italian Riviera coastline. Relax and stroll by the sea and spend time at leisure enjoying the views.
After lunch, the tour continues to Milan, the busy northern city with a noteworthy cathedral.
Note: Due to weather conditions in winter, sometimes the boat to Portofino does not operate, in which case access will be by urban microbus (poor quality service, sometimes long waits can be expected).

Day 7
Departure
After a hearty breakfast, proceed to the airport for your flight out of Milan with wonderful memories of the tour.
