Day 1
Arrive in Lisbon
Welcome to Lisbon Airport for a fabulous tour. Upon arrival, we will be waiting to transfer you hassle-free to your booked hotel. Relax and enjoy the rest of the time at leisure until the tour begins. The hotel reception area will provide you with information posters about the services of the tour. You will find all required clarity such as the guide`s name, meeting place and time on the information notice.

Day 2
Lisbon City Tour
After a delicious breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour with a local guide. See the tra¬ditional neighbourhoods including the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the 15th century. Visit the other highlight attractions such as the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure as you explore the city on your own. In the late afternoon transfer to the Restauradores Square, a public square with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Take a ride on the Elevador Da Gloria funicular, a highly recommended activity. It takes you to the viewpoint of San Pedro where you witness beautiful views over Lisbon and the Bairro Alto. Transfer to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Lisbon - Fatima - Madrid (Lunch included - Fatima Shrine)
After a tasty breakfast, the tour proceeds to travel north of Portugal. We visit Fatima which is an important sanctuary and pilgrimage site. It is here in 1917 that Virgin Mary appeared to three child shepherds. We will continue on through the green lands of the central regions of Portugal travelling to Spain. The beautiful green plains extend as far as the eye can see with beautiful cork oaks and olive trees. Cross the North of Extremadura en route. Relish lunch at a local restaurant as we continue our tour to Madrid, the capital city of Spain. As the tour arrives towards the end of the day we transfer you to Plaza Mayor of Madrid. It is a major public square where you can enjoy a few authentic taverns left in the city.

Day 4
Madrid City Tour - Retiro Park, Las Ventas Bullring
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast and proceed onwards on the exciting Madrid city tour. The comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid shows you fascinating attractions including the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor.
Proceed onwards to visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, and one of the largest parks of the city of Madrid. The magnificent park is filled with monuments, sculptures and a peaceful lake. See the Glass Palace, a conservatory located in the park. The tour then proceeds to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included). This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world with a capacity for 23,798 spectators and a ring with a diameter of 60 metres. Here we will learn about the tradition of the “corridas” or bullfighting at the Bullring Museum.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Transfer to the Plaza de Oriente by sunset that is opposite the Royal Palace. The elegant and bustling area is filled with restaurants that serve a variety of cuisine. Take your pick from local Spanish food, international or Chinese cuisine. Savour a delicious dinner and by the end of the evening transfer to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 5
Madrid - Zaragoza (Saragossa) - Poblet - Barcelona
In the morning after a tasty breakfast, the tour proceeds for Aragón over the lands of Castile. See the Pilar Basilica in Zaragoza on a brief stop. The tour next goes to the Monastery of Poblet, one of the well preserved medieval sites in the world (entrance and guided tour included). Go on to see the Monastery of Montserrat where the tour takes you on a rack train up the mountain. Witness fabulous scenery along the way in this highlight journey of the tour. Continue onwards to Barcelona where the tour arrives late afternoon. Overnight stay in your booked hotel for a night's rest.
Note: In the winter months, from November to March, due to the shorter days, the tour will not visit the Monastery of Poblet so as to reach Montserrat in the daylight.
Day 6
Barcelona City Tour
In the morning after breakfast proceed to the city tour. We take you to Ramblas, Works of Antoni Gaudi, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre and to take you back in time to the memories of the Olympic Games. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Barcelona.
Day 7
Barcelona Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home. Take along with you unforgettable memories of the tour.
