Excursion to Medeo & Shymbulak

Day three will begin with a nice Kazakh breakfast. Then the group will be led by your Arabic-speaking chauffeur to the Medeo ice rink which is located at an altitude of 1,691.2 meters above sea level. The rink was built around 1972 and is known the world over. The surface of the ice rink covers an area of roughly 10,500 square meters, which makes conducting events of ice skating, ice hockey and figure skating an experience like no other.
Close to the ice rink is the Shymbulak Ski Resort lies in the picturesque ravine of Zailiysky Alatau Mountain. Which lies at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level and at a distance of 25 kilometres from the centre of the city of Almaty. The most remarkable feature is the cable car that goes up to the height of 3,163 metres above sea level that connects both the locations with the heart of the city of Almaty.

Day 4

Show Of Hunting Birds

Visit the nursery of rare and endangered species of birds "Sunkar" which is unique by its species composition and equipment after breakfast. It is the only nursery in the whole territory of Kazakhstan, and during its operation, it has raised 1060 birds and released 260 falcons Balobans into the wild. In a falcon nursery, you can see the most beautiful birds, learn about their biological characteristics, and more than that, see a falcon show (from May to October). The birds participate in the show and demonstrate different things, such as hunting with a bird and getting food out of the water. A spectacular performance featuring free-flying birds of prey will tell the history of falconry and its traditions.

Day 5

Excursion to the Canyon

Near the Chinese border, the canyon is located on the spurs of Tian Shan. In the valley of the Charyn river lies the Charyn Canyon, a natural monument built from sedimentary rocks with an age of about 12 million years. This interesting and frequently visited tourist destination is often known as the "Valley of Castles''. During the glaciation era, a grove of relict species of ash survived in the bosom of the canyon, and another groove of ash is found only in North America. Several flora and fauna species exist in Charyn Canyon due to its diversity of terrain. While Charyn Canyon is smaller than the Colorado Grand Canyon in North America, it is far more beautiful than it is in terms of size.

Day 6

Excursion to Ethno-Village Huns

You will experience the full flavour of nomadic life on the sixth day as you plunge into the traditional environment of the Kazakh people. Kazakh people take pride in and honour their ancestral customs and traditions. About The Tour

Central Asia holds a quiet allure, and Kazakhstan stands at its heart as a country shaped by vast landscapes, deep-rooted traditions, and a proud sense of identity. Explore the Gem of Central Asia is designed for travellers who wish to understand Kazakhstan beyond its scenery to experience its culture, history, and spirit as a complete and meaningful journey. For visitors from the UAE, this tour offers a balance of discovery and comfort, introducing a region that feels both intriguing and welcoming.

This journey reveals Kazakhstan as a land where ancient nomadic heritage meets modern ambition. Wide open steppes stretch endlessly across the horizon, once travelled by caravans and tribes who shaped the region’s culture through resilience and unity. These landscapes are not just visually striking; they carry stories of survival, freedom, and connection to nature that remain deeply ingrained in Kazakh life today.

Cities visited along the way reflect this evolving identity. Urban centres blend traditional architecture with contemporary design, creating spaces where history and progress exist side by side. Museums, cultural landmarks, and public squares offer insight into Kazakhstan’s journey as a nation, allowing travellers to gain a deeper appreciation of its people and values. This cultural immersion is especially meaningful for UAE travellers who appreciate destinations with strong heritage and clear cultural narratives.

Nature continues to play a central role throughout the experience. Mountains, valleys, and open plains provide moments of reflection and awe, while also shaping local lifestyles and traditions. The relationship between people and land is evident everywhere, creating a sense of harmony that resonates deeply with those seeking purposeful travel experiences rather than surface-level sightseeing.

Hospitality is a defining feature of the journey. Kazakh culture places great importance on welcoming guests, sharing meals, and fostering meaningful connections. Traditional cuisine reflects this generosity, offering hearty dishes designed to be enjoyed together. For travellers from the UAE, this shared emphasis on respect, family, and hospitality creates a strong sense of familiarity and comfort.

While Explore the Gem of Central Asia offers a comprehensive and enriching experience, other journeys provide different perspectives on Kazakhstan. Travellers who prefer a focused city experience with natural surroundings may enjoy Amazing Almaty, which blends cultural life with scenic mountain views. Those seeking dramatic landscapes and tranquil natural settings can explore Heavenly Wonders, a journey centred on Kazakhstan’s most breathtaking natural sites. For travellers interested in contrast and modern development, Explore the Gorgeous Almaty and Nur Sultan showcases both traditional charm and futuristic vision within one seamless experience.

Each journey tells its own story, but Explore the Gem of Central Asia stands out for its depth and balance. It is ideal for travellers who want to truly understand Kazakhstan, its past, its present, and its people through a journey that feels thoughtful, immersive, and authentic.

Kazakhstan is not just a destination; it is a crossroads of cultures and histories shaped by land and legacy. Through Explore the Gem of Central Asia, travellers are invited to connect with a country that offers meaning, perspective, and a lasting sense of discovery.
