Day 1

Welcome to Cairo!

  • Welcome to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by a Travelwings representative who will assist you through the airport procedures.
  • After meeting and assisting, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Cairo. Once at the hotel, check in and take some time to relax and refresh after your journey.
  • You'll be picked up from your hotel in the evening for a memorable dinner cruise on the Nile Crystal.
  • As you glide along the Nile River, you will be treated to a delightful open buffet dinner featuring a variety of local and international dishes.
  • The cruise is enhanced by a lively show featuring traditional belly dancers and performances of Egyptian folklore, offering a captivating glimpse into local culture.
  • After this enchanting experience on the Nile, you'll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay, allowing you to rest and prepare for the exciting adventures that await.

Day 2

Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

  • Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before setting off to visit one of the most iconic landmarks in the world: the Great Pyramids of Giza.
  • You'll explore the three famous pyramids—Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus—before enjoying a unique camel ride around these ancient wonders.

  • Next, head to Pompei's Pillar, a towering Roman triumphal column.

  • Return to Cairo in the late afternoon.

Day 4

Islamic and Coptic Cairo

  • Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, then set off to explore some of Cairo's most significant historical and religious sites.
  • Your first stop is the Citadel of Saladin, where you'll visit the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali.
  • This fortress offers panoramic views of Cairo and is an essential part of the city's history.
  • Next, delve into Coptic Cairo with a visit to the Hanging Church, one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt.

Departure
