The history of Hungary is vast and rich and it dates back to the time of early settlements. In fact, it is one of the oldest countries in Europe. During the time of iron age, the country was located at the boundary of Celtic, Illyrian, and Iranian spheres.

Time flew and post-WWI the Kingdom of Hungary was able to restore its land and also recovered the lost territories. since October 1989, with a new constitution adopted in 2011. Hungary joined the European Union in 2004.
