Day 1

Arrival in Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, a terrific city and the capital of Western Cape Province. Upon arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, our Travcare representative meets you and assists you. Transfer to your pre-booked hotel in one of the most popular long haul destinations in the world.
Cape Town will allure you, often called the 'Mother City'. From practically any standpoint you can witness a mountain or sea most times. The great Table Mountain, glittering seas of the west coast of Africa, and the bustling energy are delightful vibes to experience.
Overnight stay in Cape Town in the comforts of your hotel.

Day 2

Cape Town - City Tour

Relish a tasty breakfast and proceed on the exciting half-day tour of Cape Town or Mother City. The tour first takes you on a coastal scenic drive through Clifton and Sea Point. This is one of the most beautiful drives to orient yourself to the mountains and the spectacular coastline. The tour further passes other top attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the South African Museum and historical sights. Part of the tour also includes District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge and Greenmarket Square. There is a fun-filled cable car ride that takes you to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting and entrance ticket included), if not then to Signal Hill. The breathtaking 360-degrees view of the city and views from the cable car are spectacular.

Day 3

Cape Town - Peninsula Tour

This morning enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart on a full-day Peninsula tour. The tour shows you how spectacular the Cape Peninsula is, otherwise known as the Fairest Cape. The tour proceeds past Sea Point and Camps Bay, one of South Africa's breathtaking suburbs offering glittering ocean views. You go past the golden beaches of Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout Bay, a harbour town with a laid back vibe.

The tour then takes you on a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, a narrow band of suburbs sandwiched between the Table Mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. Pass through Noordhoek and Scarborough, fabulous seaside towns. Later, the popular Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is part of the itinerary. This is a World Heritage site and a protected Nature Reserve. Get aboard the Flying Dutchman, a funicular ride that is exceptional for its unforgettable views. It is a funicular railway located at Cape Point, near the Cape of Good Hope.

Later you have a photo stop at the second southernmost tip of the African continent. The tour visits the beautiful Boulders Beach, where you have the chance to sit among the famous colony of Jackass Penguins. Enjoy your time on the sandy cove with a resident penguin colony.

The tour enjoys a short stop at the naval port of Simon's Town. Learn about the legendary “Able Seaman Just Nuisance, the Great Dane dog that was inducted into the Royal Navy. He had befriended the sailors around the port of Simon's Town, South Africa, during the Second World War.

Day 4

Cape Town – Oudtshoorn

After a delicious breakfast, proceed to check out and transfer to Oudtshoorn. It is known for its ostrich farms and is called the “ostrich capital of the world”.

Proceed onwards to arrive here in the afternoon and enjoy a tour of the Wildlife Ranch, and experience animal encounters with cheetahs, lemurs, crocs and so much more. Visit the Crocodile Park, take pictures with cheetahs and enjoy a lifetime opportunity to be among wildlife.

Later, check in to your booked hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Oudtshoorn.

Day 5

Oudtshoorn - Knysna

After breakfast, the tour takes you to Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn. This is South Africa's most spectacular natural wonder. Here you go underground to marvel at the icy formations in a 20 million-year-old cave system. Proceed to a tour of the Safari Ostrich Farm, a working ostrich farm.

The tour then arrives at Knysna where you will embark on a cruise to the vast Knysna Lagoon. The scenic cruise lets you feel amazed by the sights of the imposing sandstone called “Heads”. It guards the sea entrance to the huge tidal lagoon and emerges in its raw power from the ocean. They look like tall sentries guarding the lagoon and the town. Embrace the beauty of the lagoon, its forests, marshes and pristine beaches that surround it.

Day 6

Knysna - George - Johannesburg - Sun City

Enjoy a breakfast meal and transfer to George Airport to board a flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, our Travcare representative meets you warmly and assists you on a transfer to Sun City. The fabulous Sun City Complex is one of the most luxurious destinations. With two championship golf courses, numerous swimming pools and a huge man-made lake offering various water sports, the ideal destination offers plenty to do in beautiful landscapes, a lavish premium world within a city. There are optional activities like Hot Air ballooning as well. Proceed to enjoy lunch at the Raj Indian Restaurant (on your own).

Relax at the Valley of the Waves, an idyllic beach cove with tropical island vibes. Walkthrough the botanical gardens of the Palace of the Lost City with its splendour and beauty. Feel mesmerised by the frescoes, fountains and the setting that is inspired by the myth of a lost African Kingdom. This magical city is where you have the chance to win a fortune at the Casino and Entertainment Centre, be entertained by lavish extravaganzas and relish cuisine at a multitude of restaurants that cater to every taste.

Day 7

Sun City

Today after breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure. There is an optional game drive (at your own cost) to Pilanesberg Nature Reserve to see the Big Five.

Day 8

Sun City - Kruger

Enjoy breakfast and transfer to the famous Kruger National Park. Upon arrival check-in to the lodge for a brilliant stay. This is the largest game reserve on the continent that boasts of varied species of wildlife including the Big Five. Kruger is a unique experience with excellent infrastructure and lodges for stay. This is one of the most famous tourist attractions in South Africa as you game drive to watch cheetahs, giraffes, varied birdlife, and more. Sight the varied wildlife that includes elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog, lion, spotted hyenas, baboon, hippo, impala, kudu, vervet monkey, waterbuck, Tsessebe, wildebeest, bush baby, mongoose, duiker, steenbok, klipspringer, genet and bats. You may also see leopard, wild dog, cheetah, roan antelope, sable antelope, bat-eared fox, rhino, honey badger, porcupine, rebook, aardvark, aardwolf, civet, caracal and serval suni. Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

Day 11

Johannesburg

Post a delicious breakfast, proceed for the Gold Reef City tour (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). This amusement park is located in an old gold mine that closed in 1971. See the reconstruction of Johannesburg during the Gold Rush era, built around a mine. The park is themed around the gold rush that started in 1886 and is designed to mimic the same period. Visit the miners' houses, indulge in a Victorian funfair, and more. Visit pubs, breweries, restaurants and the stock exchange. Watch molten gold being poured into barrels and take a trip down an old mine shaft. Enjoy tribal dancing that adds to the fun.

Day 12

Johannesburg

After breakfast, transfer to Or Tambo International Airport for your flight back home. Cherish the wonderful memories of a fascinating South Africa tour.
