Day 1

Welcome to Riga!

  • Welcome to Riga, the capital of Latvia! Meet up with our Travelwings representative at the pickup point in the airport.
  • Freetime in Riga

Day 2

Riga City Tour

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Walking city tour of Riga Old Town (4hrs). The tour includes the most significant landmarks of Riga and begins along its central boulevards. On the walk you will enjoy the view of the City Canal parks, the Art Nouveau buildings of the beginning of the 20th century, and the Opera House. In the Old Riga you will see the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, the architectural ensemble Three Brothers, St. Jacob's Church, the Parliament House, the Old Riga Castle, and view the many beautifully restored buildings now housing cozy restaurants, cafes, bars and souvenir shops.
  • In the afternoon free time and lunch on your own.
  • Free afternoon in Riga – time to explore the city on your own.
  • Overnight in Riga

Day 3

Riga-Jurmala-Riga

  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Jurmala, Latvia's largest and most popular seaside resort, located just 20 km from Riga's city center. Take a leisurely stroll along the famous Jomas pedestrian street, lined with charming cafes, shops, and galleries.
  • You can also enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches, surrounded by picturesque dunes and peaceful pine forests, offering a perfect
    escape from the city. Take your time to explore and relax at your own pace. There will be free time for lunch in Jurmala, where
    you can savor local cuisine at one of the seaside restaurants. You will have some time to spend some time at the beach or local
    shops like “Jurmala oulet Village”
  • In the evening a trip back to Riga. Dinner on your own and overnight in Riga.

Day 4

Free day at leisure

  • After breakfast, free day to explore the city
  • Optional tour: RIGA – SIGULDA – RIGA
  • The Turaida Museum Reserve is the historical centre of Turaida and comprises archaeological, historical and artmonuments that tell us about the events that have taken place since the 11th century. Turaida church, one of the oldest wooden churches built by the local rural craftsmen, is situated here. A graveyard was established here for the first baptized Liivs. Under an old linden tree is the legendary tomb of Roze that commemorates a girl who sacrificed herself in the name of love. The "Folk Song Garden", containing 25 sculptures by Indulis Ranka, is situated on the site of a former ancient Liiv village. It is dedicated to Latvian folk songs and to the lifelong work of their collector Krisjanis Barons.

Day 5

  • Optional tour: RIGA – RUNDALE– RIGA
  • Located at a distance of 76 km from Riga, Rundale Palace is a pearl of Baroque architecture in Latvia, standing proud in its original splendor in a fertile plain surrounded by forests. It is Latvia's version of Versailles and Sans Soucis. Today this place is subtly restored, and it is hard to believe that the Germans used the palace as a granary in World War II. Now the 138 rooms are open to visitors in all their splendor and it is the most significant masterpiece of Baroque architecture in the
    Baltic States.

    -Continue back to Riga and overnight

Day 6

Departure

  • After breakfast, do the last minute shopping on your own
  • Standard hotel Check out is 13:00.
  • Enjoy a leisurely afternoon in Riga. In the evening, there will be a transfer to the airport for your departure @7pm

Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • 45 days or more from the departure date - 25% of the package cost to be paid (non-refundable).
  • Between 45 to 30 days from the departure date - 50 % of the package cost to be paid (non-refundable)
  • Less than 30 days from the departure date - 100% of the package cost (non-refundable).
  • In Case of Visa rejections /cases where the customers are offloaded at the airport or by immigration, the penalty will be applicable as per the
    Cancellation policy.
  • Full refund is only applicable in the case of flight cancellation due to COVID restrictions and lockdown measures in the respective destinations as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country

  • In case the selected hotel is unavailable due to an unexpected situation, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in a hotel of a similar category.
  • The availability of adjoining rooms/ interconnecting rooms/non-smoking rooms/rooms on the same floor cannot be guaranteed.
  • Room type (double or twin) is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the hotel.
  • Prices are dynamic and based on offers running at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 Hrs and check-out time is 1100Hrs local time. It may vary based on destinations and availability.
  • All tours and transfers are on sharing basis in a coach with a group, the client should follow the timing on the ground. If any transfer is missed, Travelwings will not be responsible, and the client will bear the extra cost
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, the hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (the amount depends upon the hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the room).
  • Any ticket to attractions, museums, trains, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.
  • Travelwings have nothing to do with any last-minute changes in Visa requirements and regulations of the country.
  • Customers are fully responsible for carrying proper travel documentation (make sure all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
  • No refund can be given for air tickets and partially used services.
  • We do not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of any passport or visa issue. The following cancellation policy will apply from the day of the initial booking date.
