Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome To ANTANANARIVO

  • Touch down at Ivato International Airport.
  • Meet with your driver and transfer to the hotel.
  • Overnight at NOVOTEL or similar.

Day 2

ANTANANARIVO – DIEGO SUAREZ-AMBRE- DIEGO (50 km about 2 hours’ drive)

  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Diego Suarez, locally known as Antsiranana.
  • Upon arrival, transfer hassle-free to the small town of Joffreville, southwest of Diego-Suarez.
  • It was founded by the French Foreign Legion in 1950 for Legionnaires to relax.
  • Since the mid-1990s, this little town has gained popularity.
  • Visit the Montagne d`Ambre National Park with seven species of lemurs, over 70 species of birds and 24 amphibians.
  • The park also includes several waterfalls up to 80 metres high, several river courses and crater lakes.
  • Picnic lunch.
  • Drive back to Diego and transfer to the hotel.
  • Overnight at LE GRAND HOTEL DIEGO or similar.

Day 3

DIEGO – ANKARANA (120km about 5 hour’s drive)

  • Enjoy breakfast, and proceed to the south.
  • On the way visit the Tsingy rouge, weather conditions permitting (red laterite earth with very beautiful crystal formations).
  • Proceed to drive to Ankarana (meaning "sharp stone"), a protected nature reserve.
  • Overnight at ANKARANA LODGE or similar.

Day 4

ANKARANA

  • After breakfast proceed for an excursion to explore this reserve in a hike of several hours.
  • Admire the unique limestone formations called "Tsingy" and caves for stalactites and stalagmites.
  • Similar to the Tsingy de Bemaraha, Namoroka is an eroded limestone plateau with needle-sharp rocky peaks.
  • Visit the Tsingy du Nord for interesting flora and fauna.
  • Picnic lunch.
  • Overnight at ANKARANA LODGE or similar.

Day 5

ANKARANA-DIEGO (120km about 5 hour’s drive)

  • Relish leisurely breakfast and drive back to Diego Suarez.
  • Overnight at GRAND HOTEL DIEGO or similar.

Day 6

DIEGO-ANTANANARIVO (domestic flight)

  • After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for a flight to the capital city of Madagascar.
  • Greet & Meet at the airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel.
  • Overnight at NOVOTEL or similar.

  • The displayed rates do not apply during special events / holidays, Christmas, New Year, peak season, and blackout dates. Additional surcharges may apply
  • There are a few non-operational dates for SIC tours.
  • SIC Airport transfers are available only to selected 4 star and 5 star hotels only. Pick ups/Drop offs may not be available to/from the Hotels
  • As tours are on SIC basis, pick up points are from Selected 4 star and 5 star hotels only. Drop offs will only be at a common point, which generally are train stations.
  • All rooms & offers are subject to availability at the time of confirmation
  • Rates for single/triple/quad occupancy will vary and can be provided upon request
  • However, the rates and options for increasing the pax are subject to availability
  • Bookings will only be confirmed upon the receipt of the complete payment as per the booking terms
  • Rates mentioned are per person on a double sharing basis
  • The standard check-in time at the hotel is 14:00 hours/15:00 hours while the check-out time is 11:00 hours/12:00 hours
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and will incur extra costs
  • Upon check-in, the hotel may ask for a security deposit (this amount may vary based on the hotel policy). The funds will be refunded at the time of check-out less any mini-bar items and other charges (Like early check-in or late check-out or any costs related to damages to the room)
  • Passengers are solely responsible for meeting the health, passport and visa requirements of the country they are planning to travel to
  • The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure
  • Due to the several circumstances that remain out of our control and jurisdiction like adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc. The displayed price tag is subject to change without any prior notice
  • In accordance with the immigration rules of the destination, passengers are responsible for ensuring that they possess a valid passport both before and during the period of travel. The same applies to any visa requirements that the traveler must obtain before travelling to the country for which the package is being booked
  • Travelwings does not take any responsibility if the passenger is unable to travel due to issues related to their passport or visa
  • The cancellation policy will be applicable as per the booking terms and conditions
  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.
  • Travelwings has nothing to do for any last-minute changes in visa requirements and regulation of the country.
  • Customers are fully responsible to carry proper travel documentation (make sure that all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
  • No refund can be given for air tickets and partially used services.
  • We do not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of any passport or visa issue.
