Day 1

Arrival in Reykjavík

Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Reykjavík.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city independently or simply relax after your journey.
Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 2

Reykjanes Peninsula, Blue Lagoon & Christmas Celebration

After breakfast, meet your tour guide at 09:00 hrs and begin your journey through the stunning Reykjanes Peninsula, known for its geothermal hot springs, volcanic landscapes, rugged mountains, bird cliffs, charming fishing villages, and historic lighthouses.
Later, unwind in the soothing geothermal waters of the world-famous Blue Lagoon before continuing to South Iceland, where you will stay for the next two nights in comfortable countryside cottages.
In the evening, experience an authentic Icelandic Christmas celebration. Before dinner, enjoy a guided tour of the festive Christmas lights in the villages of Hvolsvöllur and Hella, while learning about the fascinating history and traditions behind Iceland's holiday illuminations.
Your festive Christmas dinner is served at Stracta Hotel in Hella at approximately 19:30 hrs, complete with a sparkling wine toast. If weather conditions permit, step outside afterward for an opportunity to witness the magical Northern Lights dancing across the Arctic sky.

Day 3

South Iceland Exploration with Optional Glacier Hike

After breakfast, travel along Iceland's spectacular South Coast to the region beneath the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano and Glacier.
Visit the picturesque Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, followed by the Skógar Folk Museum, showcasing Iceland's traditional turf houses and early rural lifestyle. After free time for lunch (at your own expense), continue to the magnificent Skógafoss Waterfall.
In the afternoon, you may choose to join an optional glacier hike on the Sólheimajökull Glacier, an outlet of the mighty Mýrdalsjökull Glacier. This excursion must be booked directly with the local operator for Day 3 at 14:30 hours (2:30 PM).
Guests not participating in the glacier hike will continue exploring South Iceland, including:
The famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Dyrhólaey coastal viewpoint
The dramatic Reynisdrangar Sea Cliffs
The charming village of Vík
If skies are clear in the evening, another opportunity awaits to witness the spectacular Northern Lights.

Day 4

Golden Circle Tour & Reykjavík Culinary Experience

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey along Iceland's iconic Golden Circle.
Visit a local farm to learn about the unique Icelandic horse and stop at a geothermal greenhouse to discover how Iceland harnesses natural geothermal energy.
Continue to the famous Geysir Geothermal Area, where steaming vents and erupting geysers create an unforgettable spectacle, followed by the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall.
Later, explore Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic location of Iceland's ancient Viking Parliament.
The day concludes with a delightful culinary experience at a traditional restaurant in downtown Reykjavík. Return transfers are included.

Day 5

Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
Transfer to Keflavík International Airport by Flybus shuttle for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your Icelandic Christmas adventure.
