Itinerary

Day 1

Athens

  • Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, meet and greet our representative and transfer to the hotel.
  • Proceed to check in and spend the afternoon at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 2

Athens City Tour

  • After an early breakfast, the tour arranges a convenient pick-up from the hotel for the Athens city tour.
  • Enjoy the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).
  • We continue on the tour passing by the Prime Minister's residence (Ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, and the memorial to the Unknown soldier.
  • We further go on to see the Academy, the University, the National Library, and The Constitution Square (Syntagma).
  • Upon arriving at the Acropolis, visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally the Parthenon.
  • In the afternoon we suggest an optional tour of Cape Sounio (not included) or spending time shopping in Athens' old city, Plaka.
  • Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 3

Athens – Santorini

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to Piraeus Port to set sail to Santorini.
  • Arrive at Santorini Island, an awesome island with magnificent sunset views.
  • In the afternoon, spend time at leisure soaking in the beauty of the island.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.
  • Note: Pick up at 0600-0615 hrs

Day 4

Santorini Full-Day Caldera Cruise

  • This morning, relish breakfast and proceed for the Full-Day Caldera Cruise.
  • The bus pick up is arranged from a village meeting point which proceeds to Athinios port.
  • The first stop of the excursion is the volcano of Santorini on Nea Kameni Island!
  • Ascend to the top of the volcano to see the active crater walking on its rims.
  • The second stop is at Palia Kameni Island.
  • Enjoy swimming in the hot springs of Caldera, a creation of the volcano’s underwater wonder.
  • The boat sails above the underwater craters to reach Thirassia Island.
  • Experience Thirassia Island with a day filled with relishing food in small traditional taverns, swimming in the crystal clear waters, and a visit to the village of Manolas situated on top of the cliff.
  • After sailing under the slopes of Oia, disembark at Athinios Port, where the bus awaits you.
  • Transfer to Oia village.
  • After breakfast, transfer to the meeting point.
  • Relax in an overnight stay.

Day 5

Santorini - Athens

  • Savor breakfast and transfer to Santorini’s Port.
  • Upon arrival at Piraeus Port, transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Departure

  • After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your international flight back home.

  • In case the selected hotel is unavailable due to an unexpected situation, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in a hotel of a similar category.
  • The availability of adjoining rooms/ interconnecting rooms/non-smoking rooms/rooms on the same floor cannot be guaranteed.
  • Room type (double or twin) is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the hotel.
  • Prices are dynamic and based on offers running at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs and check-out time is 1100 hrs local time. It may vary based on destinations and availability.
  • All tours and transfers are on a sharing basis in a coach with a group, the client should follow the timing on the ground. If any transfer is missed, Travelwings will not be responsible, and the client will bear the extra cost
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, the hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (the amount depends upon the hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the room).
  • Any ticket to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safari, etc. is not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.
  • Travelwings have nothing to do with any last-minute changes in Visa requirements and regulations of the country.
  • Customers are fully responsible for carrying proper travel documentation (make sure all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
  • No refund can be given for air tickets and partially used services.
  • We do not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of any passport or visa issue. The following cancellation policy will apply from the day of the initial booking date.
