In your Hotel
Avoid leaving valuables in your room, keep them in the hotel safety box.
If you lose your key or room access card, report it to the hotel management immediately.
When you leave the hotel, make sure the door of your room is firmly closed.
Keep the hotel business card with you when you travel around to help you remember the name, address, and telephone number of the hotel.
Excursions
When you go hiking or to the desert, always try to stay in groups. 
Always pack a first-aid kit.
Beach Safety
Always comply with warning signs, especially red flags, and only swim from approved beaches that are supervised by lifeguards.
Remember that beaches and pools are open to public so don't leave your valuables or belongings unattended at any time.
Never leave a child unattended or unsupervised by an adult around the water and do not entrust one child's life with the life of another; teach children to always ask for permission to go near water.
Out and About
- Keep your bag or wallet where you can see them.
- Most international credit cards are accepted widely across Dubai; there is no need to carry large sums of cash.
- Keep large amounts of money, expensive jewellery , cameras and mobile phones out of sight.
- Please ensure that all the withdrawals or exchanging money are done in caution.
- Refrain from public displays of affection, kissing etc., as these may be considered socially inappropriate.
- Always lock your vehicle and never leave valuables in plain view.
- Don't accept lifts from strangers. Use only licensed taxis-it's sometimes helpful to note down the plate number-or other recognized forms of public transport.
