Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at AlUla

  • Upon arrival at AlUla, transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • In the evening, get a glimpse of AlUla’s not-so-distant past via the AlUla Old Town Tour.
  • A Rawi (guide) will lead you through Al Ula Old Town, where pilgrims, travellers and permanent settlers congregated through the ages.
  • AlUla Old Town offers researchers unique oral histories and living memories with 900 houses, 500 shops and 5 town squares.
  • Explore a maze of remnants of original stone and mud brick buildings and enjoy views of an AlUla Castle dating back to the 10th century.
  • Learn about Old Town’s settlers and pilgrims, their motives and methods in the city’s construction.
  • Overnight stay in Summer Untold in AlUla in the comforts of your hotel.

Day 2

Hegra Guided Tour & Elephant Rock

  • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest preserved site of the Nabataean civilization, south of Petra.
  • The ancient site has 110 tombs carved from giant rock formations.
  • Explore the culture, traditions, and history of its people.
  • Lunch at leisure.
  • Next, discover the civilizations of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms that have shaped AlUla.
  • Take a 10-minute bus drive to Jabal Ikmah, an open library of inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs, set in a stunning desert canyon.
  • Before heading back to the hotel, visit Jebel Al-Fil (Elephant Rock), one of AlUla’s many geological marvels. The "trunk" and "body" of this monolithic red sandstone beast were shaped by natural forces.
  • Enjoy dinner at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in AlUla.

Day 3

Departure

  • After breakfast in the hotel, check out at 1200 hrs.
  • Transfer to the Riyadh Airport, depending on your departure flight time.
  • Cherish memories of a splendid tour of the gems of Saudi Arabia.

  • The standard check-in time at the hotel is 14h00/15h00 while the check-out time is 11h00/12h00
