Italy Journey – Rome, Sicily & Amalfi Coast Experience

Day 1

Arrival in Rome

• Arrive at the Rome Airport and transfer to your hotel.
• Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 2

Rome – Naples – Capri – Sorrento – Salerno

• Depart early morning from Rome towards southern Italy.
• Proceed to Naples and board a ferry to Capri (tickets included).
• Optional activities include visiting the White Grotto or taking a cable car to Capri town.
• After lunch, continue by boat to Sorrento, known for its scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere.
• Free time to explore.
• Later, proceed to Salerno for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Salerno – Paola – Messina – Taormina

• Travel through the scenic landscapes of southern Italy, passing Cilento National Park.
• Arrive in Paola and visit the Sanctuary of St. Francis of Paola.
• Free time for lunch. Continue to Villa San Giovanni and take a ferry to Sicily.
• Upon arrival in Messina, visit the cathedral area.
• Proceed to Taormina.
• Dinner included.

Note: Accommodation may be arranged in the Taormina region or Messina on certain dates.

Day 4

Taormina

• Explore Taormina at leisure, located at the foothills of Mount Etna.
• Visit the historic centre, including the Greek Theatre, or relax by the beach. Dinner included.

Day 5

Taormina – Catania – Syracuse – Agrigento

• After breakfast, proceed to Catania, known for its Baroque architecture (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
• Continue to Syracuse and explore the island of Ortigia, featuring historic streets, the cathedral, and coastal views.
• Free time for lunch.
• Later, travel to Agrigento and view the Valley of the Temples en route.
• Dinner included.

Day 6

Agrigento – Marsala – Erice – Palermo

• Visit the Valley of the Temples with a local guide (tickets included).
• Continue to Marsala with free time for lunch.
• Proceed via the Marsala salt pans to Erice, a hilltop town ideal for a short visit.
• Later, continue to Palermo. Dinner included.

Day 7

Palermo – Monreale – Palermo – Overnight Ferry

• After breakfast, visit Monreale and its Arab-Norman Cathedral (tickets included).
• Return to Palermo for a city tour, including the Cathedral and Norman Palace with the Palatine Chapel (tickets included).
• Free time in the city. In the evening, board an overnight ferry to Naples.
• Accommodation in double cabins with private facilities.

Day 8

Naples – Pompeii – Rome

• Arrive in Naples (breakfast not included) and proceed to Pompeii for a guided tour (tickets included).
• Later, explore Naples with free time for lunch and a short walk in the historic centre (UNESCO site).
• Continue to Rome.

Day 9

Rome Departure

• After breakfast, check out and proceed for onward departure.
