Overview

Enjoy the inviting blue waters, beautiful reefs and white sands of the Maldives while staying at the W Maldives. Offering a tranquil escape, the hotel features a diving centre, fitness centre and outdoor infinity pool.

Spacious villas offer direct beach, reef or ocean access and come with a private plunge pool. They are fitted with a 42-inch plasma TV and a BOSE CD and DVD player. Comforts include W's signature bedding, outdoor daybeds, a tea/coffee maker and minibar. The private bathroom comes with a rain shower, toiletries and a hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.

Unwind with a pick from the massage menu at the AWAY® Spa, with ayurvedic and facial treatments. Guests can also enjoy activities ranging from watersports, yoga and aqua aerobics. Situated on a private island within the North Ari Atoll, it is a 1.5-hour speed boat ride or a 25-minute sea plane transfer from Male International Airport. A private W Lounge is available at Male International Airport.

Entry in to the Maldives:

The Maldivian Government has updated their entry requirements and now all travellers must submit an online health declaration form within 24 hours prior to their departure to Maldives. Please complete your ONLINE SELF-DECLARATIVE HEALTH DECLARATION via https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv within 24 hours prior to departure TO and FROM Maldives. For convenience and a quick/smooth arrival experience at the airport, complete this health screen questionnaire which is effective now. Anyone who arrives without the online form completed, will be asked to fill it in at the airport and will take time/cause delay.

All guests arriving in the Maldives are required to show a negative PCR Test certificate in English upon arrival at the airport. The PCR Test sample must have been taken within 72 hours prior to departure to the Republic of Maldives.

Terms & Conditions

  • The rate is not valid for holidays, special events, peak season and blackout dates, seasonal charges may apply depending on the date of travel.
  • All Rooms & Offers are subject to availability at the time of confirmation & at the discretion of the hotel/resort
  • Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment as per the booking terms.
  • Rate is based on per person sharing basis.
  • Seaplane transfer provider imposes a luggage restriction of 20 kg for check-in luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage. Additional luggage will be charged at USD 5.00 per kg.
  • Seaplanes operate during daylight hours only (7 am - 4:30 pm). Guests arriving in Male on an international flight, landing after 15:30 hrs, will need to find their overnight accommodation in Male at their own expense. They will be transferred to the resort on the following day.
  • Departure transfers from the resort to Velana International Airport are scheduled between 06:00 hrs and 16:00 hrs, connecting all international flights leaving from 09:00 hrs onwards.
  • Guests departing from Male on an international flight earlier than 09:00 hrs will need to leave the resort one day before the date of departure to reach the airport on time.
  • Passengers are solely responsible for meeting the passport and visa conditions of the country of travel.
  • Passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure.
  • Due to matters outside our control, such as adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc., the prices are subject to change without notice.
  • The passengers must ensure on their own that they have a valid passport for the necessary period as per the travelling destination immigration rules.
  • If the requirement of a visa exists, the passengers should arrange for visas before travelling with this holiday package.
  • Travelwings.com does not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of a passport or visa issue. The cancellation policy will be applicable as per the booking terms and conditions.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • PCR Test within the last 72 hours before departure is required. Upon arrival, a PCR test at the border is required.
  • Ensure that the Negative PCR test for COVID-19 health document is in English.
  • Maintain at least three feet distance from the next traveller.
  • Wash your hands frequently for about 20 seconds. We recommend frequent washing every 30 minutes.
  • Most airlines prefer web check-in for your safety.
  • Always wear a mask and carry sanitisers, gloves, and soap gel for frequent hand washing.
  • Avoid crowding, especially in the aircraft.
  • Follow all health advisory and travel guidelines of the country of travel.
  • Be sure to have taken all vaccinations that are essential to protect your immune system.
  • Always cough into your elbow and wear a mask.
  • Arrive early at the airport to follow security protocol.
  • Carry travel insurance for your emergency needs.
  • Immediately report any symptoms of fever, cough, and breathlessness (if you have any) to the nearest medical authority.
