Wednesday – Quito – Galapagos (Santa Cruz Island)
After breakfast, take the hotel shuttle service to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos.

Upon arrival in the Galapagos, receive assistance from an English-speaking representative.
Arrive at Baltra Island, the main gateway to the Galapagos. Once a military base during World War II, Baltra now hosts the islands’ principal airport, designed using advanced eco-friendly technology.
It is recognized as the world’s first ecological airport.
Continue by ferry to Santa Cruz Island.
Highlands of Santa Cruz
Meet your guide at the airport and proceed to explore the highlands of Santa Cruz.
Visit giant tortoise reserves, lava tunnels, and the famous geological formations known as Los Gemelos (Twin Pit Craters).
One of the highlights is a private farm where you can observe the iconic Giant Galapagos Tortoises roaming freely in their natural habitat.
Depending on your energy level, you may visit a natural lava tunnel, Los Gemelos, or both. Los Gemelos, located in the Scalesia forest zone, is an excellent birdwatching site where you may spot Darwin’s finches, Galapagos doves, and cattle egrets.
Later, drive to Puerto Ayora for an overnight stay.

Half-Day Bay Exploration (SIB – Shared Service)
This morning, join a bay exploration tour departing from the main dock in Puerto Ayora. Navigate along the coast toward Playa de la Ratonera, passing El Barranco, Love Canal, Shark Channel, Las Grietas, and Playa Los Perros.
Enjoy sightings of sharks, sea lions, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, stingrays, and other marine life. Snorkeling will be available at Las Grietas.

Full-Day Motor Yacht Excursion with a Local Galapagueño
Enjoy a full-day sea excursion aboard a motor yacht operated by a local ex-fisherman, his crew, and a certified naturalist guide.
This experience offers a unique insight into the Galapagos’ marine ecosystem while supporting sustainable tourism.
Local fishermen have transitioned from traditional fishing to conservation-based tourism, helping preserve the islands’ rich biodiversity.
The excursion includes swimming and snorkeling opportunities near one of the more remote islands.
