  • Fortified, you're ready to explore the iconic pyramids of Giza—Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus.
  • Their mammoth sizes and intricate histories are bound to leave an indelible mark on your memory.
  • As the morning sun casts long shadows, you'll come face to face with the Sphinx, an architectural marvel that's a blend of pharaoh and lion.
  • Post these breathtaking views, a detour to the Papyrus Institute or a perfume shop adds a touch of local flavour.
  • As hunger pangs strike, savour a delectable meal at an authentic oriental restaurant.
  • The afternoon promises more discoveries: Memphis, the ancient capital, and Sakkara, home to the world's oldest pyramid.
  • As the day winds down, you can choose from a palette of evening entertainments—be it a mesmerising sound and light show by the pyramids, a serene Nile cruise dinner, or a lavish meal at the Sequoia restaurant by the Nile.

Day 3

Delve Deeper into Cairo’s Rich Tapestry

  • Wake up refreshed and get ready to delve deep into the treasure troves of an Egyptian Museum.
  • Here, history is not confined to books but displayed in its full glory through statues, jewels, and the priceless treasures of Tutankhamen.
  • After a hearty lunch at yet another oriental gem, the afternoon takes a spiritual turn.
  • The Citadel, with its imposing mosque of Mohamed Ali, showcases Islamic architecture in all its splendour.
  • The day isn’t complete without experiencing the bustling bazaars of Khan El Khalili, where you can haggle for souvenirs or just soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
  • As evening paints the Nile gold, choose your own adventure—either reliving history with the pyramids' sound and light show or dining by the Nile's gentle waves.

Day 4

Alexandria's Coastal Charms

  • A pre-dawn breakfast energises you for the journey ahead.
  • The road to Alexandria unveils a different side of Egypt.
  • From the historic Bombay's pillars to the modern wonders of the Alexandrina Bibliotheca, the day promises a blend of the old and new.

  • A traditional lunch offers flavours as diverse as the sights of the city.
  • With sunset, the journey retraces back to Cairo, promising another luxurious night's sleep.

Day 5

From Cairo’s Grandeur to Luxor’s Splendour

  • As dawn paints Cairo’s sky, you’re whisked away to Cairo Domestic Airport. Soon, Luxor’s ancient charm beckons.
  • Upon landing, Luxor’s aura welcomes you and guides you to your Nile cruise.
  • As the day matures, you step into the precincts of the majestic Karnak Temple.
  • This architectural wonder is an ode to Egyptian devotion, dedicated to the Gods Amon, Mut, and Khonsu.
  • A short distance away, Luxor Temple awaits, holding tales of pharaohs and gods under its pillars. As dusk descends, you retreat to the cruise, lulled by the Nile’s whispers and a vibrant tapestry of dance and music.

Day 6

In the Footsteps of Pharaohs

  • The Nile's gentle ripples greet you as you set out post breakfast.
  • The Valley of the Kings emerges, a monumental tribute to pharaohs who once walked the earth.
  • This sacred resting place, a realm of Osiris, whispers tales of grandeur and the quest for immortality.
  • The day unfolds, revealing the Hatshepsut Temple's unique architecture and the colossal statues at Colossi of Memnon.
  • Aboard again, you sail through Esna to Edfu.
  • An evening of relaxation awaits with delightful afternoon tea, a captain’s welcome cocktail, and melodies that set the mood for an overnight voyage.

Day 7

Of Temples and Tales

  • With Edfu on the horizon, breakfast is a delightful affair.
  • Soon, the Temple of Horus beckons. This well-preserved testament to ancient beliefs offers an incredible journey through time.
  • As the day progresses, Kom Ombo emerges with its dual temples. While Sobek, the crocodile god, enjoys one half, Haroeris, the falcon-headed sky god, dominates the other. As you sail towards Aswan, the evening unfolds with traditional Egyptian entertainment, culminating in a night of rest under Aswan’s starlit sky.

Day 8

Mysteries of Aswan

  • As the morning sun casts its golden hue over Aswan, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on board.
  • With a day filled with adventures ahead, you'll first embark on a journey to visit the High Dam.
  • This architectural marvel, constructed in 1960, stands as a testament to human ingenuity, shielding Egypt from the Nile's annual floods.
  • With the wind carrying tales of times gone by, you'll next make your way to the mesmerising Philae Temple.
  • To reach this majestic edifice, one must sail through the shimmering waters that surround it.
  • For many centuries, this temple was submerged underwater for half of each year, but an ambitious restoration project in the 1960s saw it relocated, stone by stone, to its current, more elevated position.
  • Your exploration then leads you to the unfinished Obelisk, a monument that whispers the ambitions of Hatshepsut, an ancient Egyptian queen.
  • Had it been completed, this obelisk, nestled in Aswan's northern stone quarries, would have stood towering at around 137 feet, making it one-third larger than any other Egyptian obelisk.
  • As noon approaches, return to the board for a delectable lunch.
  • The afternoon sees you sailing gracefully on a felucca around Kitchener’s Island, with the magnificent Agha Khan Mausoleum gracing the horizon.
  • As night falls, enjoy a splendid dinner onboard, complemented by the vibrant rhythms and dances of a Nubian show.
  • Let the gentle waves of the Nile lull you into slumber as you spend the night aboard in Aswan.

Day 9

From Aswan to Cairo - With a Hint of Adventure

  • Greet the dawn with a hearty breakfast, preparing yourself for the journey ahead.
  • For some, this day unfolds with a smooth disembarkation and a flight to Cairo.

  • The journey then continues with a return flight to Cairo via Aswan.
  • Whether you choose relaxation or adventure, the day concludes with a special farewell dinner, either at a renowned Cairo restaurant or within the comfort of your hotel. Post that, drift into dreams in the embrace of your plush Cairo hotel room.
