Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The city has the most historic monuments and mosques for you to explore. Located on the famous river Nile that stretches up to 40 km from North to South, you can look forward to a major sightseeing adventure. Upon arrival, meet our representative from Excel Travel who will assist you with customs and formalities. We will transfer to the hotel via an Excel air-conditioned modern fleet. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2
Half Day Pyramids tour (Breakfast included)
After breakfast, go on to explore one of the greatest wonders of the world, the great Egyptian pyramids. Admire the manual artistry of the Middle Kingdom as you view the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the largest of the three pyramids. Go on to see the Pyramid of Chephren, the best-preserved among them and the pyramid of Mycerinus.
The main attraction is the Great Sphinx that will leave you awestruck. The magnificent structure comprises a lion's body stretching 45 m with paws 15 m long carved out of a natural rock. Next, visit the Papyrus Institute and learn how the paper was made in ancient times. You could do some shopping at the Papyrus Museum, Perfume factory, and Jewellery shop.
Transfer back to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure. You can also avail the option of lunch at a local or Indian restaurant in the afternoon. Head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum with over 120,000 artifacts including the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Drive to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar and souk in the historic center of Cairo. Do pick up a souvenir from the many workshops that trade in traditional crafts. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 3
Cairo - Sleeping Train - (Breakfast, Dinner included)
After a tasty breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure. You also have an optional excursion that can be booked to enjoy more of Cairo or Alexandria. Transfer to the station early evening to take the sleeping train with a first-class ticket to Aswan. Enjoy your dinner onboard the sleeping train and an overnight stay.
Day 4
Train - Aswan- Cruise (Friday, Wednesday)-(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
After a tasty breakfast on board the train, meet and greet our representative at Aswan Station. Transfer to the famous Nile Cruise for a sail down the longest river of the world.
11:00 hours: Check-in
12:30 hours: Lunch on board
13:30 hours: Visit the High Dam (an embankment dam built across the Nile in Aswan), the Temple of Philae (built in honor of the goddess Isis, the last temple built in classical Egyptian style)
19:30 hours: Dinner on board

Day 5
Aswan - Kom Embo - Edfu-(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
07:00 hours: Have a wholesome breakfast on board (optional tour to Abu Simbel, a village with Abu Simbel temples with massive rock temples)
12:30 hours: Lunch on board
13:00 hours: Sail to Kom Ombo
17:00 hours: Visit the temple, an unusual double temple in honor of two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo town.
18:30 hours: Sail to Edfu
19:30 hours: Delicious dinner on board
Overnight stay in Edfu
Day 6
Edfu - Luxor-(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
06:00 hours: After a refreshing cup of tea or coffee, head out to visit the Edfu temple
06:30 hours: Visit the Horus Temple in Edfu, a fabulous historical temple with a granite shrine and a Horus statue.
08:00 hours: Tasty breakfast on board
08:30 hours: Sail down the beautiful river Nile to Luxor via Esna
13:00 hours: Lunch on board
The afternoon is free at leisure. You can also enjoy an optional tour to visit the East Bank
20:00 hours: Tasty dinner on board
Overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7
West Bank - Final departure (Breakfast included)
07:00 hours: Tasty breakfast on board
08:00 hours: Check- out after breakfast
08:00 hours: Visit the West Bank - Valley of the Kings (with the famous collection of elaborate tombs), and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (a mortuary temple built for the pharaoh Hatshepsut)
After the visit, transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back home.
