Day 1
Welcome To Istanbul
Day one of your tour will commence with your arrival at Sabiha Gokcen Istanbul Airport in Turkey. At the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will receive you and facilitate your transfer to your hotel, where you will arrive by road in a private car. Post this, you will have the rest of the evening at your leisure to explore the luxurious facilities the hotel has to offer.
Day 2
Half-Day City Tour
Day two will begin with a bountiful buffet breakfast at the resort. After breakfast, we will take you on a half-day city tour of Istanbul that familiarises you with the city’s most famous historical landmarks and cultural sites. First, we will head to the Hippodrome, the centre of sports activities in Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine empire, today named Sultanahmet Meydani, with its three monuments; The German Fountain of Wilhelm II, Egyptian Obelisk, and Serpentine Column (Spiral Column). Our next stop on the tour is the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Mosque), built by the architect Mimar Sedefkar Mehmet Aga. Until the 19th century, this was the traditional point for the pilgrimage to Mecca. Next, we will visit the world-famous Hagia Sophia Museum, officially the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque considered one of the greatest marvels of architecture ever to exist, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. If you think you’ve seen all there is to bazaars and haven’t been to the last destination on the tour, the Grand Covered Bazaar, the most attractive shopping centre in the world, with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leather wear and souvenirs, think again.
Day 3
Istanbul
Day three begins with a leisurely yet hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel in Baku, after which you shall have the day at leisure, to do as you please. Feel free to venture into this bustling, incredible city that straddles two continents to discover its marvellously manic markets or its beautiful riverfront with baffling views of the babbling Bosphorous Strait. You can alternatively opt to stay in and enjoy the luxuries that your hotel has on offer.
Day 4
Istanbul To Cappadocia
The fourth day of your journey will start with an excellent breakfast at the hotel. After you checkout from your hotel post breakfast, you will be transferred to Sabiha Gokcen Istanbul Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Once you arrive in Kayseri, better known outside of Turkey as Cappadocia itself, at the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will receive you and facilitate your transfer to your hotel, where you will arrive by road in a private car. Your overnight stay at the hotel in Cappadocia will be accompanied by a delectable dinner that is sure to rid you of any and all lethargy you may feel.
Day 5
Cappadocia
Post a boisterous breakfast on the fifth day, you shall have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley or other notables sites, including Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers) and later used as refuges by early Christians. The 100m-deep Ihlara Canyon houses numerous rock-face churches which you can go see for yourself or the hordes of hot-air balloons that take to the skies together, which Cappadocia is most certainly unique in, and known for around the world.
Day 6
Departure
The final day of the journey will start with an excellent breakfast at the hotel in Cappadocia. After this, you will be transferred back to Kayseri Erkilet Airport for your flight to Istanbul, upon the landing of which you will depart Turkey from Sabiha Gokcen Istanbul Airport with tantalising and tranquil memories of Turkey in all its glory.
