Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome To Latvia!

  • Day one of this exciting travel experience will commence with your arrival at the Riga International Airport.
  • Post that you will be directed to the airport office for the pickup of your rental car.
  • After that, you will head to the hotel in Riga to complete your check-in formalities.
  • The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Riga, the capital city of Latvia which is home to the Riga Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Riga.

Day 2

Riga - Parnu - Tallinn (310Km)

  • Day two of the journey will start with a lavish Lativian breakfast at the hotel in Riga.
  • Post that make a stop at the Riga Open-Air Ethnographic Museum to witness displays of historic Latvian country life.
  • After that, continue your journey to Tallinn via Parnu while driving along its beach and exploring the Kadriorg Palace and the Song Festival grounds of the Pirita district.
  • Once you arrive in Tallinn, check in at the hotel and post that take a leisurely stroll through the charmingly medieval old town of Tallinn.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Tallinn.

Day 3

Tallinn – Rakvere – Tartu (240 km)

  • After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel in Tallinn, drive through Laahemaa National Park and along the Baltic coast, while making a quick stop at the Valaste Waterfall.
  • The drive ahead will take you through the town of Rakvere, which will bring you to the shiny blue Lake Pepsi where you may stop for a walk along its picturesque coasts.
  • On arrival in Tartu proceed for the check-in to the hotel. Post which you may explore the beauty of this bustling University City.
  • Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Tartu.

Day 4

Tartu – Sigulda (200 km)

  • Day four begins with a hearty Lativian breakfast at the hotel in Tartu followed by your check out from the hotel.
  • After that, explore the beautiful hilly landscape of southern Estonia and pay a visit to the country’s winter capital, Otepaa.
  • Drive through the border town of Valga/Valka to the medieval city of Cesis and onwards to the scenic town of Sigulda.
  • Check in to the hotel in Sigulda followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5

Sigulda – Jurmala (115 km)

  • After breakfast at the hotel in Sigulda, take a walk through the Gauja River Valley and enjoy the beautiful nature of Latvia’s ’’Little Switzerland”.
  • Post that, drive to the seaside resort town of Jurmala home to a tranquil sandy blue-flag beach.

Day 6

Jurmala – Klaipeda (315 km)

  • After breakfast at the hotel in Jurmala, pay a visit to the movie town of Cinevilla, where you will have the chance to take a leisurely stroll around a historic film set.
  • Post that, drive to the port city of Klaipeda, while making a quick stop at Hill Of Crosses.
  • There is a large shopping centre in Akropolis that is worth a visit for anyone who enjoys shopping.

Day 7

Klaipeda – Nida – Klaipeda (100 km)

After a hearty morning meal at the hotel in Klaipeda, cross the Curonian Lagoon via ferry to reach the nature reserve of the Curonian Spit where you will witness lush parks, small villages and beautiful sand dunes. Post that you will make your way to Nida, where you may take a stroll or cycle through the town and soak in the unique style of its distinct wooden houses and cosy restaurants. Post that you will return to the hotel in Klaipeda followed by your overnight stay.

Day 8

Klaipeda – Kaunas – Vilnius (310 km)

  • Day eight of this exciting road trip begins with an invigorating Lativian breakfast at the hotel in Klaipeda.
  • Post that, commence your journey to Vilnius, while making a stop in the former capital of Lithuania, Kaunas, and pay a visit to its impressive 9th-century Fort Museum or the surprising Devil’s Museum.

  • The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 9

Vilnius – Rundale – Riga (320 km)

  • After breakfast at the hotel in Vilnius, enjoy the beautiful old town of Vilnius with its fine buildings and narrow streets.
  • Drive via the Panevezys Highway to Bauska and visit the magnificent 18th Century Rundale Palace, once the summer residence of the Duke of Courland.
  • On arrival in Riga, head for check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Riga.

Day 10

Departure

  • For the final day of the tour, enjoy a refreshing breakfast at the hotel in Riga.
  • Post this you will have the rest of the morning at your own leisure.
  • After that drop off the rental car at the Riga Office International Airport.
  • Finally commence your boarding of the flight from Riga International Airport for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful tour that would last a lifetime.
