Day 1

Welcome To Milan

  • Welcome to Europe! Upon arriving at the airport, we transfer you to the hotel.
  • You can enjoy your free time until your tour starts.
  • Please, check the informative posters at the hotel reception area, for all the information about your upcoming services, such as the meeting place, time and the guide’s name.
  • Overnight stay in Milan.

Day 2

Milan - Lake region-Verona

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Lakes region - Mountain landscapes - alpine lakes - villages of great beauty

  • Today, after breakfast, your day is filled with the most beautifully scenic areas of Europe, the region of the Italian lakes.
  • Firstly, we will travel to Lake Orta in Orta De San Giulio, a well-preserved medieval city.
  • We take a train ride to the centre of the medieval town. Then, we take a boat ride to the Island of San Giulio, a small island on the lake with a monastery.
  • We then proceed to Lake Maggiore, stopping in Stresa, with an option to visit the Borromean Islands, especially Isola Bella, its gardens and palace (closed in the winter).
  • Spend time relishing lunch and proceed onwards to Verona.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3

Verona - Venice

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Visit Venice - Murano Glass Factory in Venice

  • After breakfast, we will have time to see Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, before leaving for Venice, where we arrive at about 13.00 hours.
  • We include a boat trip to the area of St Mark’s Square, and with a local guide, we take a stroll around the City of Canals. There will also be a chance to admire the glasswork of Murano.
  • Enjoy some leisure time, and maybe you could take a gondola ride?
  • Overnight stay in a hotel in the Mestre district.

Day 4

Venice - Padua - San Marino - Gubbio - Perugia

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: San Marino and its fortress - Beautiful landscapes crossing the Apennines

  • Today, after breakfast, we leave for Padova, the destination of many pilgrims, where we will see the Saint’s Basilica.
  • We will go further to the Adriatic coast to see San Marino, a small independent country on top of a strongly fortified mountain.
  • Take some time out for lunch.
  • We proceed onwards to travel through the pretty mountain countryside, crossing the Apennines to Gubbio, a marvellous preserved town, to see the Palace of Consuls and the 12th-century cathedral that stand out as attractions.
  • The tour continues to Perugia.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5

Perugia - Assisi - Rome - Naples

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Umbria region.

  • Enjoy breakfast and go on a tour of Perugia, a historic city, the ‘city of chocolate’.
  • Here, a local guide accompanies you as you climb its ramps that cross the rocky outcrop. Its squares and stone streets are a surprise.
  • We proceed to Assisi, where you will have time for lunch and to see the Basilica of St Francis.
  • In the afternoon, we will travel to Naples by the end of the day.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 6

Naples - Capri - Sorrento - Salerno

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Boat trip to the beautiful Capri and Sorrento.

  • After breakfast, enjoy some free time to stroll around Naples.
  • We then get aboard for a boat trip to the Isle of Capri.
  • You may take a boat to the Blue Grotto or the cable car to Capri city.
  • We will get onboard again and continue to Sorrento, a charming tourist town at the base of a cliff.
  • Spend time strolling around Sorrento.
  • We will continue to the Gulf of Salerno.
  • Sojourn in Salerno.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7

Salerno - Pompeii - Cassino - Castel Gandolfo - Rome

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Pompeii, the city covered by the ashes of Mount Vesuvius (entrance and guide included) - Castel Gandolfo

  • After a delicious breakfast, we will go to Pompeii, where you will have an opportunity to admire the remains of this Roman city. The city was covered by the ashes from Mount Vesuvius (guided tour and entrance included).
  • We will continue to Cassino after lunch. You will visit its huge abbey where one of the cruellest World War II battles took place.
  • We will visit Castel Gandolfo on our way back, a lovely medieval town located in a beautiful lake area which belongs to the Vatican and serves as the Pope’s summer residence.
  • We will resume our trip to Rome.
  • By evening, we arrive in Rome.
  • Overnight stay in the Hotel

Day 8

Departure

  • Post breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • 45 days or more from the departure date - 25% of the package cost to be paid (non-refundable).
  • Between 30 to 45 days from the departure date - 50 % of the package cost is to be paid (non-refundable).
  • Less than 30 days from the departure date - 100% of the package cost (non-refundable).
  • Full refund is only applicable in the case of flight cancellation due to COVID restrictions and lockdown measures in the respective destinations as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country .
  • In Case of Visa rejections /cases where the customers are offloaded at the airport or by immigration, the penalty will be applicable as per the Cancellation policy

  • Room type (double or twin) is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the hotel.

  • Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 Hours and check-out time is 1100 Hours local time. It may vary based on destinations and availability.
  • For all tours and transfers by sharing coach on the group, the client should follow the timing on the ground. If any transfer is missed, Travelwings will not be responsible, and the client will bear the extra cost
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, the hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (the amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the room).
  • Any ticket to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safari, etc. is not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
  • The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.
  • Travelwings have nothing to do with any last-minute changes in Visa requirements and regulations of the country.
  • Customers are fully responsible to carry proper travel documentation (make sure that all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
