Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Colombo
- Start your journey in Sri Lanka's vibrant capital city, Colombo
- Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Travelwings will greet you at the designated pickup point
- Revitalize and unwind at the hotel. Embark on a city and shopping exploration in Colombo
- Include a visit to the Lotus Tower in the city tour
- Afterward, return to the hotel upon completion
- Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your chosen hotel in Colombo
- Hotel: Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel Colombo (or a similar hotel)
Day 2
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - Kandy
- Rise and shine with an early breakfast at the hotel, prepping you for another day of exploration.
- After check out from the hotel. The first stop for the day is the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Time your visit to catch the 9 am feeding session. Witness the gentle giants as they interact with their caregivers and indulge in their morning meals.
- Post the orphanage visit, begin your journey to Kandy
- Set off on a scenic drive towards Kandy, which will take approximately three and half hours.
- En route to Nuwara Eliya, take a detour to a Tea Plantation Factory. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of tea-making. Observe the lush tea plantations, understand the processing methods, and maybe even sample some freshly brewed Ceylon tea
- Once in Kandy, check into your designated hotel and take some time to unwind. Whether you prefer a nap, a refreshing shower, or just resting your feet, the choice is yours
- For lunch, you'll have the freedom to choose from a variety of local dining options or perhaps try something from the hotel's menu
- As the evening sets in, immerse yourself in a captivating city tour of Kandy. This includes a visit to the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, a significant Buddhist temple holding the ancient relic, a tooth of Buddha.
- End your day with a pleasant dinner. You will be staying at Mahaweli Reach Hotel (or a similar hotel)

Day 3
Beruwala
- Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and check out from the hotel
- Heading to Beruwela which is about 4 hours' drive from your current location
- While on the way you will visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden
- Spend the evening at leisure. You can either relax at the hotel premises or maybe take a short walk around to soak in the local ambience.
- For the night, you will be staying at Cinnamon Bey Beruwela (or a similar hotel)
- Meals: Breakfast
Day 4
Madu River & Bentota
- Wake up to a refreshing breakfast at the hotel.
- Gear up for a boat safari in the Madu River. This adventure lasts for approximately an hour and is a chance to witness the serene waterways and perhaps spot some native wildlife.
- After the boat safari, you have a free slot for lunch. Remember to make your arrangements.
- Visit to Turtle hatchery and drive to Bentota, enjoy the beach with water activities
- Water sports at Bentota lagoon – 01 round of ringo, 01 round of jet ski and 01 round of banana boat
- Upon completion, return back to Hotel
- Overnight at Cinnamon Bey Beruwela (or a similar hotel)
- Meals: Breakfast
Day 5
Departure
- The last day begins with a nourishing breakfast at the hotel in Beruwela
- Once done, prepare for check-out. Make sure all personal belongings are packed and nothing is left behind.
- Proceed towards the airport. It's always good to be early to ensure you have ample time for security checks and other formalities.
- As you board your flight, reminisce about the wonderful moments from the trip and leave Sri Lanka with a trove of cherished memories.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
- 45 days or more from the departure date - 25% of the package cost to be paid (non-refundable).
- Between 30 to 45 days from the departure date - 50 % of the package cost is to be paid (non-refundable).
- Less than 30 days from the departure date - 100% of the package cost (non-refundable).
- Full refund is only applicable in the case of flight cancellation due to COVID restrictions and lockdown measures in the respective destinations as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country .
- In Case of Visa rejections /cases where the customers are offloaded at the airport or by immigration, the penalty will be applicable as per the Cancellation policyn policy.

- The validity of the package is from 09 April to 13 April 2024
- The package offered is operated in a Group exclusively for Travelwings

- The prices offered are as per the current promotions and respective offers would be valid at the time of confirmation.
- Bookings will be confirmed as per the payment policy.
- Any delays or changes in flight timings are at the sole discretion of the airline.
- Itineraries are just indicative and might change due to unforeseen circumstances.
- For the extra tour/ optional tour, English Speaking Driver cum guide will be provided if it's less than 3 pax.
- In case the selected hotel is unavailable due to an unexpected situation, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in a hotel of a similar category.
- The availability of adjoining rooms/ interconnecting rooms/non-smoking rooms/rooms on the same floor etc. cannot be guaranteed.
- Room type (double or twin) is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the hotel.
- Prices are dynamic and based on offers running at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
- Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 Hrs and check-out time is 1100 hrs local time. It may vary based on destinations and availability.
- For all tours and transfers by sharing a coach in a group, the client should follow the timing on the ground. If any transfer is missed, Travelwings will not be responsible, and the client will bear the extra cost.
- At the time of check-in to your hotel, the hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (the amount depends upon the hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the room).
- Any ticket to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safari, etc. is not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.
- Travelwings have nothing to do with any last-minute changes in Visa requirements and regulations of the country.
- Customers are responsible for carrying their proper travel documentation (make sure that all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
- No refund can be given for air tickets and partially used services.
- We do not accept any responsibility if the passenger cannot travel because of any passport or visa issue. The following cancellation policy will apply from the day of the initial booking date.
