Yas Island's waterpark will transport you into another world where futuristic technology meets fun. Spanning over a vast area that is easily big enough to cover 15 football pitches, this waterpark has a huge range of rides, slides, and attractions. There are over 43 of them, out of which five are unique to just this waterpark.
Dawwama is the world's first and largest six-person tornado slide, which is powered hydro-magnetically and is 238 meters long. Bubble's Barrel is a 3 meters high surfable sheet, which is also the largest in the world for flowboards and bodyboards. The fun part is the riders can shoot jets of water at targets, drop water bombs and even trigger special effects, on their way down. There is also Bandit Bomber, which is a 550-meter rollercoaster which has added on-board water and laser effects, making it one-of-a-kind.
Along with these adrenaline-rushing rides and slides, there are also more family-friendly and kid-friendly attractions like Tot's Playground, Yehal and Amwaj Wave Pool. Children can also play water wars with their friends and have fun at the interactive spray pad. The park, despite being ultra modern, draws inspiration from UAE's rich heritage. The park follows a theme called "The Lost Pearl". This theme follows a young Emirati girl as she goes through the park on a quest of finding a legendary pearl. Her journey makes her go through all the various attractions that are here, which also comprises of a souk and pearl-diving exhibit. Yas Waterworld is a perfect place to spend the entire day with the whole family.
